Challenge Tires London and South East CX League - Round 01

An amazing turnout from the Wheelers - 23 riders - at Round 1 of the The Challenge Tires London and South East Cyclo-Cross League at Coombes Farm.

Weather was fantastic, but the course was super tough with a brutally long steep climb to start things off before riders zig-zagged their way back down the valley before tackling THE BRUTAL CLIMB! once more. It was certainly a very rude awakening to the season.

Rides of the day: Oscar Nisbett recording his first cyclo-cross win in the youth AB race and Lucy Williams for winning the V40 womens race, both very impressive. Also special mention to Sandy who had a really strong ride in the V40 mens to finish 6th and Laura who made an amazing comeback to cross with a 2nd place in the senior womens.
