Weekend club rides meet every Saturday and Sunday morning at 8:45am for a 9:00am start outside the Crawley Library, Southgate Avenue, Crawley, RH10 6HG.
If you are thinking about taking up cycling, getting back into it, or looking for a club to join then come along and pick a ride to suit you. Before you decide if you would like to become a member you get 2 rides for FREE!
There is a no-drop policy on all our rides. We want your experience with us to be as enjoyable and as safe as possible so all of our rides have a ride leader and you are sure to get plenty of encouragement from the rest of the group too. We strongly advise you to wear a helmet and read our risk assessment before joining us.
There are different levels of ride to cater for riders of different ability - see below the ride list for more information.
If rides have pre-planned routes then they will be listed below.
Speed: 17 mph +, Dist: 50 miles +
Social Ride
Speed: 10-12mph, Dist: 15-25 miles
Womens Ride
Focuses on providing an environment for ladies where they can feel comfortable and confident riding in a group.
A Ride
On the first Saturday of every month an A Ride is scheduled.
This is a great entry point ride for those that don't wont to go too far, too quickly, too soon. The distance is around the 20-25 mile mark, with a relaxed pace of 11mph and under.
B Ride
Speed: Up to 13mph, Dist: 20-35 miles
C Ride
Speed: 13-15 mph, Dist: 35-45 miles
D Ride
Speed: 15-17 mph, Dist: 40-60 miles
E Ride
Speed: 17 mph +, Dist: 50 miles +
There are so many advantages to riding in a group that after you have experienced it a few times you do wonder why you ever worried about it in the first place.
