This week the wonderful Wayne Smith has volunteered to be your ride leader! Thanks to Wayne for stepping in at short notice as the person on the rota is sick..
He will lead you on a tour of his favourite lanes between Crawley and the North Downs, so mainly rural Surrey, rolling roads rather than major hills. The tea stop will be the cafe at Tanhouse Farm Shop, Newdigate. He advises that the tea stop will be well over halfway, so consider a cycling snack for your back pocket, and make sure your water bottles are full!
This will be a moderate C ride, so that means aiming to ride as a tight group, guideline pace around 14mph, distance guide 40 miles. All welcome, it's a "no-drop" ride, so nobody will be left behind. Weather looks good for Saturday morning as I type, have a good ride!
