This week, the peripatetic Paul Jenkins has landed at the head of the C ride - thanks Paul for voluteering at short notice! He will be leading you to the Jungle Tea Room in the Big Plant Nursery at Ashington, they've expanded with more tables this year and friendly efficient service! Jungle Tea Room - Big Plant Nursery
As expected there is some cycling involved, out through Southwater and back through Partridge Green, it's a nice route because it's fairly flat for a few miles after the tea stop, so you can get your legs back before starting the climb towards Crawley.
This is a "no-drop" ride within the C ride guidelines. This means expect to ride in a tight group, with a guideline average around 14mph. On the main hills we may ride at our own pace, then re-group at the top. Load the route to your device if you can, to support the group, and listen to your ride leader, he has volunteered to make this happen!
