I was pretty sure I saw
Rob Pelham shed a tear as he rode away tonight. As well he might, it being the last time we’re at Horne in 2022. Fear not- we will be back!
Nice to have so many guests join us tonight, as well as a welcome return to Carl Wright – his 1st time back this year.
Conditions were better this week than some previous, although reports were of a bit of wind picking up. Seemed a little muggy still where I was standing!
Sandy was gutted to miss out on a PB by 5
seconds, owing to the upwards of 0.07 gallons of water he was carrying round with him!!! I mean… it’s a wonder he was even able to turn the pedals
Paul also missed out on his best time of the season by a matter of seconds (you’ve done a 28:01 this year, mate)
Carl Wright went 40 seconds faster than his previous visit, whilst
Carl Langendoen set his best tie of the year.
This week, Jay Patel decided to head straight to the finish line at the end of his 2nd lap, rather than heading back to his adoring fans. His faster time was therefore inevitable.
Not content with being star of week last time out, young Seb went a whole 9 seconds slower than his 2up time – His Dad shadowed him this week – I guess we know who the weak link is there
Grześ
