Event info

This Saturday, Dean Butler is leading the C ride to the cafe at Beacon Bikes, Albourne, expect some scenic little lanes! We're heading out through Twineham and Wineham, so from Pease Pottage, the route averages downhill, then research shows the cafe has cake and coffee, what more could you ask for? Coming home we will saunter up Buncton Lane, potter up Broxmead Lane, ramble along Rose Cottage Lane and bimble up Brantridge Lane, then home.

This is a "no-drop" ride within the C ride guidelines. This means no-one will be left behind. The pace will start steady, maybe averaging around 14mph once we're all warmed up.We aim to ride as a group for most of the ride, except just riding the main hills at our own pace, and re-grouping at the top. Please help the group by loading the route to your device, if possible - if you've loaded this ride before, please note the route back has changed.

Please read the C ride guidelines and anti-Covid risk assessment elsewhere on this website. Highlights include Dean collecting names for "track and trace" on the day.

Ok that's it - see you for some scenic views on Saturday!
