Event info

This Saturday Gavin Loughton has kindly agreed to lead the C ride once again! The route loops out through Newdigate to Box Hill, hoping to sample the delights of the National Trust cafe near the top. We will then burn off any cake-related calories with the shorter route back through Leigh, Norwood and home. Please load the route to your device if possible, to assist the Ride Leader.

This is a moderate C ride at around 38 miles and under 1800ft total climbing. It's a no-drop ride, all welcome! We aim to ride together as a tight group for most of the ride, except for climbing the Box Hill zig-zag at our own pace to the cafe. Group pace depends on keeping all riders on the day comfortable, maybe averaging 14mph but starting slower as we all warm up.

Please read the C ride guidelines on this site for more details of what's involved, also the anti-Covid risk assessment, which we're keeping in line with British Cycling. This includes Gavin recording names for "track and trace".

See you on Saturday!
