Event info

This week Dean Butler will lead. We'll head out through Peaslake to the Village Shop and Tea Rooms at Abinger Hammer, with seating options inside, outside, or over the road on the village green. We will then burn off all cake-related calories by heading back through Newdigate, over Stan Hill and home.

This is a moderate C ride at under 42 miles and under 2000ft total climbing. It's a no-drop ride, all welcome! We aim to ride as a tight group for most of the ride, just riding the 2 main hills at our own pace and re-grouping at the top. Pace depends on keeping the group comfortable on the day, maybe averaging 14mph but starting slower as we all warm up.

Please read the C ride guidelines on this site for more details of what's involved, also the anti-Covid risk assessment, which we're keeping in line with British Cycling. This includes recording names for "track and trace".

Please also load the route to your device, if possible! Please also note the route and tea stop are subject to change if the weather's bad. See you on Saturday!
