Event info

Dean Butler is the Ride Captain this Saturday. The route out is via Ewhurst to the Abinger Hammer Village Shop and Tea Rooms. This ia a nice stop for cyclists with a choice of sitting in the garden or crossing the road to the village green, with plenty of space for social distancing. Please note the "Rule of 6" applies at the tea stop (but not when we're cycling) and masks are required to go in and order.

Most of the inclines are on the way out, to leave us a nice easy ride home.

No pre-booking needed, just turn up behind the Library at 8.45 for 9am, Dean will collect names on the ride for track and trace purposes. We will split into smaller groups on the day, if required. This is a "no-drop" ride, all welcome! We aim to ride as a group within the C ride guidelines, we're expecting a wide range of abilities as we all get used to our groups again, so if you've managed to keep fit, please be prepared to match your pace to the needs of the group. The exceptions are the main hills which we will ride at our own pace and regroup at the top, as usual.

Please read the risk assessment here and our Covid risk assessment here.
Please help the group by downloading the route to your device, if possible.
Weather looks dry, see you on Saturday!
