Gentle C ride to Abinger Hammer, Saturday 5th December

This ride is suitable for those who are confident riding in group and able to ride within the guidelines.

Welcome to the first C ride since Lockdown 2! As our first ride back should be gentle, we'll be heading out to Abinger Hammer via Peaslake, and back through Newdigate. The tea stop is the Village Shop and Tea Rooms at Abinger Hammer.
As we are currently in Tier 2, please assume we will take our refreshments outside, and dress accordingly. While my first choice is to stop for tea, if the weather is bad we may just continue home without stopping, or even shorten the route as seems appropriate on the day.
This is a no-drop ride, all welcome! We aim to ride as a group of up to 6 within the C ride guidelines. The exceptions are the 2 main hills which we will ride at our own pace and regroup at the top, so no-one is left behind. You must sign up in advance by registering a free ticket, tickets limited to 6 per group.
