D Ride Sunday 14th July to Pooh Corner via Kids Hill

14 Jul 2019 09:30
The Broadway opposite Iceland

Tim Caig will be your ride leader for this Sunday D Ride.

Your destination is Pooh Corner, Hatfield, which was built in 1703, a grade II listed building on the edge of the 100 Acre Wood, now Ashdown Forest.

Just a short walk from where the Winnie the Pooh stories came to life! Famous for being the sweet shop where Christopher Robin and AA Milne used to frequent it is now a spiritual home for Winnie the Pooh fans worldwide.

With a tea and coffee shop, gift shop and soon (end of June 2019) a Pooh-seum covering the last 95 years of Winnie the Pooh

The pace will be kept within the club guidelines and no one will be left behind.

Guidelines dictate the pace range for the D is 14-16mph, but the end result will depend on the comfort levels of all those riding.
