15-25 miles at 10-12mph
At between 10 to 12 miles an hour, however the group will ride at the pace of the slowest rider if anyone starts to flag. Have a look at the routes section to see where we go. Every route has a coffee stop at roughly halfway for a well-earned rest, a brew and a slice of cake. If you would like more information on what to expect on your first ride, how to prepare, details of the routes and advice or reassurance on riding in a group then please see the relevant sections from the rides page or contact the Rides Secretary. Contact details of our ride coordinators are available on the Contacts Tabs.
We aim to make the experience as safe as possible for you, but we must remind you that you participate at your own risk. For your own safety we recommend that you wear a crash helmet. It would be really helpful if before you join us you noted down your mobile number and e mail address for future communication together with a home contact number in the case of an emergency. Please hand these details to the ride leader at the start. We cannot at this time offer to take unaccompanied children on a club run, however it would be great to have accompanied youngsters along on a ride suitable for their ability.
