Well done everyone who turned out tonight for the Crawley Wheelers Cycling Club 2nd 10 -mile TT of the season. 22 riders in total on a slightly chilly evening.
Sabina and Lucy represented the ladies this evening. Both rode well, however, it would be great if we could give them some friendly competition and see more ladies on the course. Over the past two years we have had an impressive turnout from the female members; it makes for a better competition as well as support.
The youths looked impressive. Oscar, Alex, Oliver and Bruce (12 years old) looked confident and professional out on the course. All achieving respectable times.
The conditions were slower tonight, but he senior men’s competition showed some time improvements. Paul cut his time from last week by 4 seconds and Rob by an impressive 8 seconds.
