Ladies Evening Turbo Sessions

Every Thursday for the past couple of months Sharon has been running turbo sessions for the Crawley Wheelers ladies.

Each session has a different training structure all with the same goal, to improve fitness in a social and relaxed environment. One of the major events of turbo sessions is the controlled environment, and can be easily measured through a Garmin. For every member, Sharon gives a peak performance heart rate recommendations to make sure everyone is getting the most out of every session.

Technique is also a focal point with handy tips on pedal strokes such as, the memorable analogy of scraping chewing gum off your shoe on the way down to bouncing a ball off your knee on the up stroke.

These sessions have proved invaluable to the ladies with a noticeable improvement in fitness, topped off with useful technique tips and a sociable evening.

With this set of sessions drawing to an end, there are more in the pipeline. More information to follow in the coming months.
