Steve Baynes is your captain this week. This is our introductory club ride, so if you are just starting out or are coming back to the sport this is the ride for you. You will receive lots of support and encouragement along the way. Please read our guidelines on preparation for a weekend ride in the rides section of the website.
Route: Surrey Lanes, Tanhouse via Rusper and Capel
Coffee Stop: Tanhouse
Ride Captain : Steve Baynes
Distance: Circa 25 miles
Elevation : a few hundred ft
Guide Speed: 10-12mph, or at the speed of the slowest rider.
Meet: Affogatto 28 -32 Broadway Crawley
Time: 8:45 for a prompt 09:00 departure.

To help you all enjoy your weekend rides the Ride Organisers and I would like to remind you when on a club ride to:
1. Listen to the ride captains instructions.
2. Follow the route of the ride captain.
3. Do not ride off the front of the group.
4. Stop at the top of climbs and at junctions to enable the ride to re-group.

If you are thinking about taking up cycling or are picking up the sport again then come along and pick a ride to suit you. There is a no drop policy on all our rides however we would also ask you to consider the distance, elevation gain and guide speed when choosing your ride. We want your experience with us to be both enjoyable and safe.
